ABOUT TOASTMASTERS INTERNATIONAL
Toastmasters International was founded because the world needs leaders.
Leaders head families, coach teams, run businesses and mentor others. These leaders must not only accomplish, they must communicate.
By regularly delivering speeches, getting feedback, leading teams and guiding others to achieve their goals in a supportive atmosphere, leaders emerge from the Toastmasters’ programme.
Every Toastmaster’s journey begins with a single speech.
During their journeys, they learn to tell their stories. They listen and speak. They plan and lead. They give feedback—and accept it.
Through our community of learners, they find their paths to leadership.

Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. It was founded by Ralph Smedley in Arizona, USA in 1924. The Toastmasters organization has more than 345,000 memberships globally.
Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 15,900 clubs across 142 countries that make up our global network of meeting locations.
ABOUT EAGLE TOASTMASTERS CLUB
Eagle Toastmasters Club is Nigeria’s Premier Toastmasters Club. It was founded in 2005, by Ambassador Vincent Okobi.
At our meetings, members and guests learn the art of professional speaking and effective leadership by delivering speeches, anchoring meeting segments (as well as other leadership responsibilities within the club) in front of a friendly and supportive audience.
Our meetings do not just stop at speaking and leading meeting segments in front of the audience; we also provide mentorship as well as constructive and effective feedback to the speakers and leaders.
At Eagle Toastmasters, you will learn and grow to become a speaker and leader.
